CONSULTATION AND REFERENCE LAB

Our Consultation and Reference Laboratory serves as a compatibility testing service and provides suitable, safe and effective blood and blood components for transfusion to patients in over 100 facilities. The laboratory also functions as a reference laboratory for clients and area hospitals performing and evaluating a wide variety of tests to resolve complex serological patient problems. Telephone consultation is also provided to aid clients with troubleshooting and problem solving.

For our clients' convenience, a remote crossmatch facility is located in the Woodlands and an in-hospital transfusion service opened in the North Cypress Medical Center in January 2007.
